Time to pre-register. You must pre-register by May 14th in order to attend tryouts. You will then be contacted by May 16th with a May 17th tryout time for your player.

Pre-register here: https://forms.gle/gd88wUwTPZGEiMCH6

Below is the current list of tryout protocols. BE SURE YOU READ THROUGH ALL OF THEM. These may be updated between now and May 17th. We will share updates with you as they become available.

Keeping groups to less than 10:

Registrants will be contacted with a tryout time. Be sure your player only arrives for their scheduled time.

Only Latah County players, coaches and staff in attendance. No parents or spectators.

Screening:

Your player must stay home if they or anyone in their household is exhibiting COVID-19 like symptoms. This includes a fever (>100.4) or feverishness, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills or shaking chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell in the last 14 days (includes the tryout day). We will be screening for this during pre-registration and at check-in. We also will be taking their temperature to ensure they don't currently have a fever during check-in. They will be turned away if they don't pass this initial screening. Please contact me at 208-596-3296 if your player isn't able to attend tryouts due to this requirement and we can discuss other possible options.

Dos and Don'ts:

Participants should wash their hands following CDC guidelines prior to leaving their homes.

Participants should limit carpooling. Only members of the same family should be in a vehicle together.

When players arrive they should remain 6ft apart as much as possible throughout the tryout including check-in.

Hand sanitizer will be provided to participants after the initial screening.

Hand sanitizer will be available to participants throughout the tryout.

No sharing of cups, water bottles or anything else. Participants should bring their own water. Participants should bring their own equipment when possible. Some batting helmets and catchers gear will be available, if needed (sanitized in between each user).

Participants will wipe down equipment (catcher’s gear, batting helmets) in between each user with sanitizing wipes.

Hand sanitizer will be provided to participants throughout the tryout. They will be reminded to wash hands once they return home.
