Here are some tips to finding the right college program for you:

-Work hard academically

-Research college programs. Learn as much as you can about their academics, student life and their baseball program.

-Create a list of colleges you are interested in

-In your junior year email or call the coach of baseball programs you are interested in. College coaches want to hear from the athlete themselves. They want to see the athlete take the initiative and put the work in to play at the college level.

-Promptly respond to requests for information from college coaches

-Do not reject interested colleges too soon. Any opportunity to play at the next level is a good opportunity.

-Stay in touch with colleges that you want to attend. It is up to you to continue to reach out to college coaches.

-Make sure you keep Blue Devils coaches informed about what college baseball programs you are interested in

-Work hard at improving your baseball skills and knowledge

-Consider using an online baseball profile recruitment tool such as FieldLevel

-Be respectful and a good teammate
